You’ll learn about some awesome mixology trends and tips, eat like royalty, and have the time of your life! Here is a quick guide to help you plan your visit to this amazing high-energy event.

Lodging

The first thing you should consider is booking a place to stay, especially if you are from out of town. Searching for a hotel in Miami can get overwhelming since it’s one of the world’s top tourist destinations. Here are some good options.

The Hyatt Regency Miami is a popular choice. Staying there puts you at the center of one of the trendiest neighborhoods in Miami. This hotel offers guests ample space in their ultra-comfortable guestrooms that feature dramatic city views. They also offer modern amenities like free Wi-Fi, a great onsite restaurant, spa, an outdoor heated pool, and more.

If you’re looking for a distinctive experience, you should consider The Local House. It’s part restaurant, part hotel, and all adventure. Billing itself as a “peaceful place to rest and restore,” this boutique hotel offers incredible ocean views, a pampered experience, and all the amenities you’d expect from a more conventional hotel like free Wi-Fi, minibar, and plush bathrobes.

Transportation

The closest airport to the event is Miami International Airport (MIA), so you’ll probably fly in from there if coming from out of town. With that said, rental car companies are there in abundance at the airport. Getting around in a rental is the most convenient and flexible mode of transportation. However, this event will span several days, so taking out a rental may get costly. If you don’t foresee yourself exploring too much, you might just want to rely on rideshares.

Where to Eat

You are attending a culinary event, so you already know there will be plenty of food and drink to enjoy there. If, however, you are feeling the need to eat some local fare or something familiar for your palate, there are plenty of options to choose from near the event.

Whether you are craving American, Chinese, Jamaican, vegetarian, Venezuelan, or just plain fast food, there’s something within walking distance from HIVE 2019. The Food Truck Wynwood, Dr. Smood, Alter, Coyo Taco, Le Chick Miami, Dukunoo, Cafeina, Gramps, El Patio, World Famous House of Mac, and The Salty Donut Wynwood are all beloved local eateries within a 5-minute walking radius.
